1998: Cambridge Institute of Technology (INTEC)

INTEC is a research, advisory, accrediting, awarding and validating body that has helped to create many self-evaluation and reporting systems now contributing to organisational and professional development programmes across children’s services.

2003: NAPTA

NAPTA provides specialist services and guidance to support staff in schools and other education settings. Now with programmes aimed at both teaching and non-teaching support staff, it has worked with over 100 local authorities, 8000 schools and 150,000 individual staff members.

Pearson Publishing owns a majority stake in Anspear, a company which develops interactive learning resources for mobile phones. These engage a wide range of groups, including the hardest-to-reach and most vulnerable. Learning is personalised and can take place at any time, anywhere and without stigma.
